1. What are the FAQs for the EntSTCommunity Yahoo! groups? :: top

This is a mail list for stories about the characters and based in the fandom of Enterprise. Must be over 18 to join.

  1. EntSTSlash is a slash list. EntSTFic accepts het and gen stories. Any type of story may be posted as long as it is about Enterprise characters. No restrictions on length, canon, crossover, etc.
  2. No flames—you flame—you get booted from the list.
  3. No posting of items for sale.
  4. Discussion about anything Enterprise, characters on Enterprise, actors on Enterprise—well, you get the idea—that's cool.
  5. If it's off-topic—check with me first—okay?
  6. We have an archive, so if you'd like to be archived, let us know by including EntSTCommunity by name in your fic's header.
  7. Any doubts about something—ask me.
  8. No real person fic.
  9. No fic about people under the age of consent.
  10. Put warnings on your fic if it might upset someone.

2. Why are a bunch of posts missing at EntSTSlash Yahoo! home? :: top

We had to delete back posts at EntSTSlash's Yahoo! site because within three months of the site's founding, we were exceeding 50 percent of our space quota. EntSTCommunity was created as a backup so the posts would still be accessible. We save everything. Even limericks. Well—almost everything. Posts may be deleted by the list owner at her discretion (usually for off-topic or objectionable content, or when a member asks her to). All the Posts are filed in the members-only, password-protected portion of the site.

3. How do I get the password to access the locked content? :: top

The username and password are available at EntSTSlash Yahoo! Home in a small .txt file in Files; and it's also in the welcome message you get when you join the list.

4. How do I post a fic? :: top

To post to the EntSTSlash and EntSTFic Yahoo! lists, follow the directions given in your welcome message. There are helpful instructions on how to format your story so it appears properly in newsgroups at Trekiverse's FAQ Coding Your Story Properly v3.02. For a helpful overview of ASCII format, HTML and e-mail systems, post length, guidelines, and the like, please visit the mighty comprehensive Formatting FAQ for Fanfic Authors.

To post a story directly to the archive, visit the Warp 5 Complex fan fiction archive for complete instructions. Please view the archive's Submission guidelines. You can also e-mail your story directly to the Archivist, who will upload it for you.

If you want to post a fic to the list but not have it archived at Warp 5, please write a note in your header denying permission.
